In August this year we attended the Holdenby House Food Fair, which was again a roaring success with thousands of people coming through the doors. This is a really good event with lots to do and see – cookery demonstrations by top chefs, samples of various foods and drink to taste, all within beautiful surroundings, it really is a very good day out.
We are now attending the Higham Ferrers Farmers Market which is usually on the last Saturday in the month, however in December this will take place on the 20th, so come along and get stocked with your Christmas goodies.
There is also a special 'Dickensian Market' taking place in Olney on Sunday 7th December which will include both the usual market and also the farmers market. On this occasion the Farmers Market will be positioned outside The Castle Pub at the opposite end of the High Street to the market place where the normal market will be.
We will again have our 'Yuletide Ale' 7.2% available in bottles for Christmas as well as all of our usual beers. We are already taking orders for our 10 litre and 20 litre polypins (Beer in a Box) for Christmas, so contact us with your request and we'll ensure it is ready for you.
We will also have available 3 bottle gift packs of Yuletide Ale – the perfect Christmas present for the real ale lover in your family.
