April 2009

On 30/31st August this year we will again be attending the Holdenby House Food Fair. This is a really good event with lots to do and see – cookery demonstrations by top chefs, samples of various foods and drink to taste, all within beautiful surroundings, it really is a very good day out.  If you haven’t been before, make sure you visit this year and come and say hello to us on the Hoggleys stall.

For anyone in the Brackley area, check out the Brackley Food Fair on Saturday April 25th from 9am – 4 pm at the Town Hall.  This is the second year this event has run, following a very good day last year.  There are all kinds of foods and drinks available to buy with plenty of free samples.  Last year there was everything from Thai food to hand made chocolates, and of course Hoggleys beers.

Look out again for CAMRA’s Beer Festival at Delapre Abbey at the end of May where you will be able to try many different beers.

Hoggleys Mill Lane Mild is reviewed in the May edition of CAMRA’s national Beer magazine.  This feature is written by famous international beer writer Des De Moor and is part of CAMRA’s promotion of Mild Month.  Mill Lane Mild will be available in all the best free houses in the County, as well as in Polypin and bottle form direct from the Brewery and on mail order through LivingBeer.com and Beers of Europe.
